So, I’m not one to use my personal tumblr for writing my personal thoughts…but once I saw this video EVERYWHERE, it left me with a lot to say. To summarize, these two girls are DUMB! For those of you who have not heard or seen the video; it features two young ladies who respond to the much debated Arizona law regarding illegal immigrants. Everyone is entitled to there opinion, but there are different ways to do so. Every other word that these girls say begins with “fu**” That right there shows me how bad they need to pay attention in class and expand their vocabulary and use something new instead of their favorite phrases. Instead of blaming Mexicans for their troubles in school, they should quit making racist comments and PAY ATTENTION. They go on to tell Mexicans “**** your Jesus.” Now this was the comment that really irritated me. FYI, Jesus was NOT Mexican, and above all God accepts all colors in His religion. Mexicans did not invent Christianity, so to say they think Mexicans should burn on a cross is really stupid of those two. Before they made this video (which will bite them in the butt) they should really look at where they all came from. America is full of immigrants! Embrace it and embrace the uniqueness and MOVE ON from this racists behavior. Sounds like they really need to open a book and quit making these pointless conclusions. I am not as mad that they just targeted Mexicans, but I am angry that these girls are our future. Yes, I am Mexican, and yes I am the first to be born in America, but NO, I don’t eat burritos all day… My parents came into this country and taught me what it’s like to have an education and strive for success and learn to love people of ALL races, which is much more than I can say about these girls. I 100% agree about being able to speak your mind, after all it is our freedom and right, but to sit there and target and THREATEN a specific race, full on crosses the line. There are ways to voice your opinion, and they involve using an educated approach; not saying you would shoot an illegal by blowing his head off! Oh and girls, “Mexicans were not here first?” FYI, open a book, Arizona belonged to the Mexicans first! But this is not an argument about Mexicans vs ‘them’ this is about a realization that the only way for the future to look any better and really go somewhere is to eliminate all stereotypes. This video above all is sad, these girls are now plastered EVERYWHERE; not a smart move, considering how they live in a high Mexican populated state.
Girls read a book, ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS means anybody who comes into this country illegally, which does not always mean Mexicans. And watch out with your stereotypical comments, Mexicans can be smart too…who knows I might be YOUR boss one day ;)
